Case Study 1 - Walnut shaker traditional style kitchen with curved units and composite worktops in Burton, Derbyshire, U.K
A large family kitchen in a modern house, constructed in walnut in a shaker style with grey composite tops. Our client is a mum to four hungry boys and wanted the ideal environment for cooking fresh food. The tall run has two single ovens, a steam oven, a combination microwave and two fridge freezers. The hobs are a four ring induction with a wok burner. There is also enough room for all the family to eat at the island.

Back in 2001 when we were building our house, I had seen my 'dream' kitchen in a magazine. Sadly, the price tag was too prohibitive to allow. I showed this to Ian at ICP Design who, with his team, managed to replicate it within our budget. Of all the decisions I had to make at that time when building a house from scratch, I am thankful daily that we got the kitchen right. Six years on it still is a timeless kitchen and has weathered many knocks and burns on the way to still look great. Customer care from ICP Design at the time was solid and dependable. Case Study 2 - Traditional Hand Painted kitchen with special mantle and a mix of granite and oak worktops tops in the village of Ticknall, Derbyshire, U.K
This is a kitchen in a barn conversion. It is hand painted with a mix of granite for the main runs of kitchen units and oak for the island. Again, the client is an enthusiastic cook and chose the Falcon 11 range cooker. She wanted the island to double up as a table so there are units at the sink end and legs at the other. This was also the reason that we used oak for the top. The canopy was specially made so as not to impact on the room, given the position of the windows and the light they bring into the room.

We wanted to completely re-vamp our kitchen into a new, easy to manage one. ICP Design was the only firm that we contacted who were prepared to carry out the whole job, which included removing a brick-built internal fish pond, heavily artexed ceilings and ceramic flooring, in addition to the built-in appliances and fittings. From the planning stage to the completion we encountered a very professional team. We were impressed with the project management and the way that all parts of the business were organised, enabling joiners, electricians, plumbers, tilers, plasterers etc. to be on-site at the right time on the right day.
We appreciate the guidance of the director in selecting units, appliances and fittings and his wide experience was helpful without being intrusive or dictatorial. The fact that the work was completed on time reflects the professionalism of an organised and dedicated team. We now have our modern, bright and easy to manage kitchen and we certainly had value for money.
Case Study 3 - Contemporary high gloss magnolia kitchen with granite worktops a near Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, U.K
"This particular kitchen was built in a lovely barn conversion. Materials used included a high gloss magnolia with a black glitter stone top.
Part of the original client brief was for a larger window to allow in more natural lighting. To achieve this a specially constructed window was made to match the rest of the property, including removal of old brickwork (from a pantry) which was re-used to "cloak" the back of the new kitchen units to fully integrate the new design into the style of the property.
